Germany Targets 1 Million Put Electric Cars on the Year 2020


Not only the Japanese who launched an ambitious plan for electric cars or hybrid to dominate the roads in the future. Germany also has a similar plan.

German Federal Government has promised to put as many as 1 million units of electric vehicles on the streets of Germany in 2020.

German Chancellor Angel Merkel has met with top executives automobile manufacturer in Berlin to launch electric cars national development plans or the National Development Plan for Electric Mobility.

Aim to put 1 million electric cars on the street on the end of this decade as the policy set last August by the office of Chancellor.

Merkel previously approved policy that would provide millions of electric cars on the streets of Germany in 2020. With Germany’s policy would menggurita become the largest market in the world of electric cars.

The German government disburse funds of around 500 million euros, or around Rp 7.167 trillion for the construction of electric car charging stations and programs to increase the battery technology of Germany.

Even the chief executive of BMW AG, Norbert Reithofer, said at the event, that Germany was ready to become a world leader in renewable energy technologies

At the event, it also presented a model 2013 VW Golf Blue-e-motion, an electric car model made by Germany’s most successful manufacturer in Europe.

VW itself has set a target as the manufacturer with the highest production of electric cars in 2018. 2 Years before Merkel wants it. Audi also already set up an electric car Audi super e-Tron.
